How Does it Feel to be a Fish by Tom Wisner (with some significant revisions)
How does it feel, to be a critter
Roaming around, nothing could be fitter
How does it feel, to be a critter
Roaming around, nothing could be fitter
How does it feel, to be a critter
Roaming around, nothing could be fitter
See them roam
In their homes
Out in Delmarva, they roam free
They jump to the surface and dive down deep
Fly through the air, dig through the ground
Sit on a log, and make strange sounds
Critters look happy, some look mean
Critters like people that I’ve seen
Critters with glasses, critters with hats
Critters with whiskers eating a cat
So get on your coat and sit in a meadow
Wait real still until the birds settle
Critters so flashy, critters so plain
Critters in the sun, and critters in the rain.
